O.J Simpson gets 17 ½ years in jail? Who gets that long of a sentence for armed robbery? No one. It’s O.J Simpson so let’s throw his ass in jail for not only the armed robbery but also the murders that he was found NOT GUILTY of ! Amazing how the general public and the media have convicted him as a murderer when the Courts have said NO HE ISN’T ! Now what he did in the latest case was stupid. Even he admits that! But is that really worth that much time in jail? Even though the Judge in this case said that the sentence had no bearing on his TRIAL OF THE CENTURY 14 years ago, I believe it did. A sentence of 17 ½ years is an excessive sentence.. For what? To try to get back what was rightfully his to begin with!

Even though I feel sorry that the Goldman Family lost one of their family members.. But they must STOP calling O.J a monster. No he is not. A monster would be someone who committed crime (s) against someone weaker and who could not defend themselves at all . There is no way that O.J could possibly have killed both Nicole and Ron Goldman ( note : Ron was a very healthy , very physically fit young man ) even at the same time, which is more impossible!

Now in this case. The evidence was there. The testimony was true. There was no deceitful cop who lied throughout his testimony. There was no fabrication of evidence nor did the investigation show anyone other than OJ being the suspect. And last but not least.. There was no glove for OJ to try on in the hopes it would fit!

Was O.J set up? I think so to some degree he was. Why was there a tape recorder all ready to record every word in the room then? Who keeps a voice activated tape recorder in their hotel room just waiting for someone to say something stupid? I have travelled to many places and I have yet to tape record my room!

OK. I said my piece on that! Here is another… Sean Avery suspended for 6 games for saying how the guys in the NHL seem to like his “ sloppy seconds”.. referring to two ex girlfriends who now date other NHL players. A 6 game suspension is ok. It’s not enough , considering everything Sean Avery has done in the past! He is a pest on and off the ice. The question is now do the Dallas Stars let him go and buy out his contract? Or do they trade him? What do you do with someone like that?

Sean Avery has done some strange things and has said some incredibly stupid things. Most players do not like him , nor do they like playing with him , much less be on the same team. So what do you do?

If he is that bad, get rid of him one way or another. The dumbest thing was the Dallas Stars Organization signing him to a 4 year $15.5 million contract just last year! Is he worth that much? Yikes! Hardly! He may be a great player in some eyes, but he is not worth the almost $4 million!

And that’s my opinion on that! I need to get some sleep. Tomorrow I am hoping to get a meet and greet with the legendary Gene Simmons who is in town for an autograph signing. Even though it will be quick, I still have wanted to meet him for years… since I was a kid listening to KISS. Hopefully will have a photo for this blog.
