Well this is the last blog for 2008.. I blogged a lot throughout the year and I hope to continue blogging throughout 2009. I hope we all have a safe and fun night as we ring in the New Year.

Speaking of ringing. My ears were plugged up since Saturday and it is one of the weirdest feelings not being able to hear. We take our senses for granted and yet when we lose even just one of them, it freaks us out. I know those few days were really hard for me to hear any thing that was going on. I was told ( rather loudly ) that I should put a few drops of baby oil or olive oil in my ear and then rinse it out with water. 

I dont know about you, but I can not see in my ear so I have no idea where the syringe is supposed to go. Anyway after a few attempts, I decided I had enough. Off to the MediCenter to clear this out.

After waiting 2 hours , even though I was told it would be 30 minutes, I get called up and escorted to another room..where I wait some more!

Finally the doctor walks in and asks " What can I do for you?". I told her I could not hear anything out of my left ear . So she again asked me the same question but this time louder. I answered her back..louder! She asks me again and then you literally can see the light come on as she realized that was the problem..

Anyway she fixed my hearing with this device which sprays hot water into the canal of the ear and removes all the build up. It is kinda like a pressure washer at the car wash. It feels like gallons of water but its around a liter.

So after a few minutes of this flush, it was all done. I CAN HEAR !! And the amount of crap that we have in our ears is one of the most disgusting things you will ever see ! GROSS !

Check these guys out. They are 2 un-named tigers the Edmonton Zoo welcomed the other day. Aren't they cute!!

These 2 precious animals were born a few months ago and are adorable!
