OK..ok.. just a few more days until the big day..YUP ! BOXING DAY !! By the way.. I won't be one of the morons to go to a store that day either.. nowadays its boxing day specials ALL week.. people can't be enjoying ANY Christmas at all when they spend all their time in the stores looking to save a buck or two.

This kinda made me laugh and cry.It was one of those D'UH ! moments. Some mayor in a small B.C town stated " Nativity scenes should not be publicly displayed on any City property because it does not have anything to do with Christmas!". Huh?? Guess he failed that part of Sunday School.

Now because of the P.C world we live in, here is a small list of the proper terminology to be used at Christmas ..err I mean Holiday Festivus:

Santa Claus: Slightly obese aged bearded senior citizen bearing gifts...I mean exchangeable goods.

Elf: vertically challenged  individuals employed by non union organization.

Santa's Workshop: Labour intensive non beneficial, low paying, fair trade assembly organization.

SugarPlums: Fat Free, sugar free non dairy nuitrition supplement

Reindeer: were all released back to the wild by PETA and the Human Society seeing as they were being held in captive spaces and were forced to haul thousands of pounds of merchandise goods in a single 24 hr period.

Merry Christmas: replace that with whatever celebratory season you wish to participate in..as long as it is not Christian based.**. it's socially acceptable.

Christmas lights: replace that with festive multi decorative compact fluorescent bulb...

Christmas Tree: Seasonal Tree or Holiday* tree.

HOHOHO : Lady of the night, lady of the night, lady of the night!

stockings hung by the fireplace shall be replaced with non flammable, flame resistant environmentally friendly container to be suspended a minimum 4 feet from the environmentally friendly non toxic burning device chamber!

Yule Log: Have no idea what it is..but it better be environmentally friendly ,non toxic, non residue !

Christmas break to be replaced with Winter break.. a break from winter would be the Spring, summer or fall ..when there is no winter!

And let's not forget about the songs we used to sing:

The song "dreaming of a white christmas" has a racist notation so it will be replaced with " dreaming of a  Race Immaterial Non-Religious- Specific Day-Off in Winter"

O Little Town of Bethlehem"  ..."O Quaint Town of Palestinian Joint Rule"

OK... you get the idea here!

The folks who brought you this language should be ashamed of themselves for ruining a beautiful time of year.

The language they have created is offensive. Ohh no .. not to others. TO OURSELVES ! WE ARE OFFENDING OURSELVES. And no one seems to mind.

Have yourself a Merry Christmas! Happy Hannuka, Happy Kwanzaa or whatever it is you celebrate at this time of year. If you don't celebrate Christmas at all... Have a nice day!

* break down the word holiday..HOLI DAY.. HOLY DAY ! In ancient times no one worked on these set dates.. so these PC A-holes say Holiday a lot without knowing the meaning!

** mostly redundant anyway considering Christmas is now mostly for spending thousands of dollars and that is all the importance..so the true meaning is lost anyway!
