June was a relatively slow month for victims of the letter scam in Canada, with four people reporting losses of a total of almost $73,000.

But in May, 11 Canadians fell for the letter scam and were taken for a total of almost $571,000, while a U.S. victim reported they lost $200,000 in a scam with Canadian links."

And I am supposed to feel sorry for these losers when they go on TV and cry their crocodile tears and actually saying they thought it was legit! DUMB-ASS !

Here is how the scam works. You get a phone call or email from some one claiming to be a Nigerian heir to the throne. He / She claims that there are billions of dollars tied up in the bank but she can not access it unless YOU help. If you help, you will be "graciously rewarded" with a couple of million. So you agree, they ask you to send them some money for legal reasons and to set up an account for money transfers etc etc. As you give them a couple of hundred, you get another contact asking for more money..this time thousands. You still fall for the scam and send them all you got. THANK YOU very much! Then you hear nothing. Nada. You try to contact them and you get no reply... you have been scammed of thousands of dollars...

And there are thousands of people who continually fall for this. ALL THE TIME. In total Canadians have been scammed out of $5.2 million in the past year from over 7,000 "victims". MORONS ! GOOD! And don't go on TV crying about how you lost all your money on a obvious scam!

I am getting a bit ( make that... quite a bit ) tired of all the Michael Jackson coverage. Not one news cast can make it through an hour with out mentioning something. Every channel has something to say about it. It's like every one of them has , what I call, "Nancy Grace syndrome"... ya know. Talk about 1 thing over and over and over and over and over again until everyone is ready to puke!

Ok. He's dead. He was an icon in music. He was a pioneer ( pppfftt !) and a legend. We get it ! Can we get on with our lives, please!

The only thing I am curious to know ( and eventually we will ) is how did he get that drug - propofol ? This is a drug used in HOSPITALS only! It is not to be used at home. And why has that "doctor " gone into hiding? What's he not saying? Why did he leave the premises? So many questions... yet no answers! The drug had to come from someone, somewhere.

The other thing that is truly unbelievable and very illegal is this. Many doctors in Hollywood and L.A use other people's names when it comes to prescribing drugs for high-profile celebrities. One doctor just this week was slapped with a suspension after it was reported he used a client's chef as the name on a prescription, instead of the client. Amazingly enough, many high-profile celebrities will also use aliases to get prescription drugs when they are already abusing it. So if you had prescriptions for a certain drug and KNOW you can not get anymore, some doctors will prescribe the drug and use some one else's name. VERY ILLEGAL ! So.. whoever got that drug, propofol , for Michael is going to be in serious trouble.

More as it comes. I know... I hate all the talk about Michael Jackson on TV.. as I am sure you are sick of reading it on my blog.. I promise I won't be writing too much ( unless someone ends up facing felony charges ).
