First I'd like to point out ( if it is not obvious ) I hate, detest, will not tolerate any conspiracy theorists and their stupid "theories"... GOT IT ?
Ok let's start. Today marks the 40th Anniversary of the first LUNAR LANDING. Believe it or not, 20% of Americans still think it was all staged. A government tactic.
Many "theorists" believe the photos and film of the lunar landings were all done in a film studio. Because of that, Hollywood produced a movie called "Capricorn One" . It involves 3 astronauts who made it appear they lifted off into space but were at the last minute taken to a studio and were "directed" to duplicate every thing that was supposed to happen . Many "theorists" believe the movie is more accurate than what actually happened.
Last night's episode of MYTHBUSTERS demonstrated how far off these theories were. They duplicated everything from the photo of Buzz Aldrin's footprint on the surface, to how the flag's motion showed a "wind of some sort..even though there is no atmosphere on the moon". Everything was explained and duplicated to show these "theorists" are way off.
Of course they went to the moon, they landed and walked around and collected samples. End of story. Besides that, there were literally thousands of people who were involved with the project of getting a man on the moon. That is simply a lot of people to keep quiet about a "faked landing". What? Only a few people were involved and the others were all dupped into believing it was happening... OH SHUT UP !
Also seeing now that it's been 40 years, don't ya think that maybe...just maybe someone would have spilled the beans by now and made a fortune of telling the " truth".
Many years later, a believer of this conspiracy ran up to Neil Armstrong and with a Bible in his hand, demanded Neil put his hand on it and look him in the eye and tell him they did indeed land on the moon. Neil refused to participate and literally punched the guy square in the face. Now you ask, why? If they did indeed land, why would he not do it. Neil refused to do it not because they did not land on the moon, he did it for the simple reason that these conspiracy theorists were being ridiculous and that they can believe what they want to. Regardless if he had done it or not, they would still believe what they do.
Many theorists still to this day believe and come up with ridiculous notions of what actually transpired during certain events. There are literally thousands of theories alone about 9/11 ( I am not going to spend hours debunking them all ).. as well as JFK's assassination and the Apollo landings. These are nothing more than theories but they do not prove a single thing.
Believe what you want but let's stick to facts.
For as long as people have their theories, there are many who also debunk them. I love it when someone says something so outrageously impossible and it gets debunked.
One person I worked with a few years back was a conspiracy theorist. She loved the idea that the whole Sept 11 events were nothing more than a government conspiracy to get control of oil. Yup. You read that right. The US Government destroyed the WTC and parts of the Pentagon in order to blame someone else , invade them and get their oil. SHUT UP ! I highly doubt the U.S would create such a ploy, killing 3,000 people to gain control of oil , let alone cause a complete destruction of one of the most recognized buildings in the world. Her claims were so far fetched that I actually had to tell her to shut up !

Ohhh how I love stupid people. Take for example this moron. Ontario Police got a call from a motorist about some guy speeding down the highway.. so far so good.. but the driver was watching porn while driving. When he passed another vehicle, that driver noticed a DVD player on the dash playing a porn. When OPP pulled the guy over, they thought he may be drunk..he wasn`t. He was given a citation for speeding and having a television in view of the driver. And for the record BOTH hands were on the wheel !
And in Ottawa , a group of cyclists were struck in a hit and run on Sunday. One cyclist is in critical condition and the others are being treated. The driver turned himself in about 2 hours later. The cyclists were all in a row on a dedicated cyclists path. Here is my question... YOU DID NOT SEE THEM ! How could you not have seen a group of cyclists all in a row on a path ! There is some more to this. There has to be. I drive every day and yet I can spot a cyclist but I do not hit them..unless they jump out at me .. then I might.
