Now this is unbelievable. two 14 year old "darlings" were charged with murder ! 14 years old!! What is this world coming to? Apparently the little darlings escaped from a youth center and randomly selected their victim. Once they got to a property, they bagan smashing windows and damaging several cars that were on the property. They then broke into the home where they began to rumage through belongings...finding a gun at the same time. The owners arrived home and encountered the 2 boys. They were both killed- likely by their own gun. How sad !
When I was 14 that was the last thing on my mind ! What ever happened to playing sports with some friends, hanging out at the park, ya know the things a kid is supposed to be doing.
I feel sorry for the parents ( if there are any ) . Their child is a killer ! The sad part is these kids will most likely face juvenile court and get a maximum of 3 years. Then once they are out, they have a clean record and they can go out and do it again. Tough guy!
What is even more shameful is adults who spoil their little brats with everything they could not have when they were a kid... harmless fun huh? Whatever!
And some sad news... David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok. For those of you who do not know who David was. He was the star of a TV series called KUNG FU. He was chosen over Bruce Lee , whom producers felt people were not "ready" to see a leading role played by a Chinese man. David also starred in a classic film called Lone Wolf McQuade, which featured Chuck Norris. The two end up kicking the crap out of each other in one fight scene that was reported to be as real as possible. The producers were also insisting on stunt doubles for the scene... both actors refused !
David was a Kung Fu expert who used that talent along with acting and starred in many roles featuring the art of Kung Fu.
I am still amazed at the amount of people who have ...shall we say a lack of common sense. Such as the moron last night who wiggled a door open( leading to a restricted area ) because he forgot to tell his wife something... so he just about causes a security breach at the airport. Ok.. first off.. the sign on the door says " AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY ". What part of that did you not understand? Number 2.. you honestly thought you could get away with entering? Did you not think there would be a security officer at the other end... MORON !!!
Just like the moron who was recently fined $500 for uttering he had a bomb in his laptop ! Moron decided at the moment it would be funny to say something like that.. guess again, putz! Now most people , like me, love a good joke... however thinking that saying your computer is a bomb or anything of that sort is NOT funny.. think about it for a second before saying it.
So why do people act so stupid when they are in an airport? Is it stress??? Or nerves??? Or is it plainly a fact you are a dumb-ass. Common sense would scream at you that there are certain things you can not say or do at any airport ! And get a grip on reality, folks. YOU NEED I.D to fly ! A paycheck stub and Alberta Health Care card does not cut it.. GET A PASSPORT ! And yes..some moron the other day thought those 2 things would be an acceptable piece of I.D. And that's all he had ! No driver's license, no credit cards.. nothing. Just a carry on bag and one suitcase ! And the funny part ( actually sad, really ).. he got mad when the agent refused him a boarding pass... yeah ! Like it's all her fault.
What is with all the hand santizers all over the place? They are everywhere! Are we that obsessed with germs? I know it helps PREVENTING flu like symptoms..but you can still get it ! And now hand dryers are replaced with hands free ones. You just put your hands inside the chamber for 12 seconds. No more paper towels or anything... automatic soap dispensers.. simply place your hand underneath and a gob of liquid soap is dispensed ! Automatic flushing toilets / urinals.. that don't work half the time or do not fliush 100%. Good grief ! CAREFUL !! DON NOT TOUCH THAT !
Listen folks... we are all slowly killing our immune system.. to a point where one day all the germ-a-phobes will eventually get really sick because they have no immune system. Think about it for a second. If you lived your life in a complete sterile environment, what are you going to do when some super virus comes along? Huh? Put a mask and surgical gloves on? Won't help.. why? Because you have no immune system.. so you're going to get weaker and weaker and then ...LIGHTS OUT ! And why? BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO IMMUNE SYSTEM !! That's why we have it... to kill germs !
I can not stand the fact seeing people wearing gloves when they garnish my hamburger or hot dog or any sandwich. Learn to wash your hands afterwards. Damn germ-a phobes who insist on them wearing gloves...
When I worked at a restaurant many many years ago, we did not wear gloves. Wanna know how many people got sick from it? None. Nope. Not a single one ! Want to know why? Because we washed our hands... period!
But my favorite is these stupid little gagdets some people are wearing around their necks that ( claim ) sterilize / kill any germs that come near them. Yup. This stupid gagdet can be yours for $49.99 but wait...call now and I will send a second one that you can put on your pet's collar to prevent hair balls !
STUPID THING ! And the sad part is ... people buy into it. Go ahead ! Buy one. Live a sterile life while I go around and double dip into the salsa.. which by the way is not as dirty as you think. Matter of fact there are the same amount of germs when you double dip ! Can you deal with that? Same thing when I drop a SKITTLE on the floor and pick it up and eat it. There are no germs on there strong enough to make me sick.
Did you know in prisons.. before they give an inmate a LETHAL injection.. they swab the arm with alcohol? Will someone please explain that logic to me? Thanks.
