What shocking news for the past few days. I simply am shocked at the events of the past 24 hrs.

I found out this morning one of the best entertainers in Las Vegas died. Danny Gans was an amazing impressionist and entertained thousands of people. He was named Entertainer of the Year 11 times. His show was simply outstanding. For 90 minutes, you would think those he is impersonating are actually on stage. He was quite the showman. Having seen his show and met him once, he was a truly gifted man. Las Vegas and others were shocked to read the news of his passing. He was 52.

God Bless ya, Danny. You will be sadly missed !

The other big news is what happened in Holland the other day. May 1 is Queen's Day where the Royal Family tour one or two cities in celebrations of her birthday ( Official date is different than actual .. her real date is : Jan 31, 1938. ). The Dutch Royal Family have always kept their relationship with the people of Holland as open as possible. There is no snobbish attitudes or higher than thou !

The celebration cut short when some MORON BOZO drove his car through one barrier and plowed into several people before hitting another barrier, finally stopping at a statue. The driver of the car was badly injured but did claim he was aiming for the Royal Family.

Several people including the driver ( a few hours later )  has died of their injuries. No one in the Royal Family were hurt.

The Dutch people are shocked that something could happen to their Royal Family. Unlike some Royal Families, the Dutch are more down to earth and keep a low profile when out of the Palace. You hardly , if ever, read or hear about them in the papers or gossip / trash magazines because they simply do not do anything to cause publicity.

SO this act the other day certainly has put them in the spotlight as I am sure there are many who had no idea the Dutch even had a Royal Family.

Ohhh see how my blog is turning educational as well...
