Hello again. Today's blog is going to be about.... MORE STUPID PEOPLE !!!!
A 31yr old male stole a plane from his Flight School and attempted to fly over the Canada / U S Border. Fighter jets ( yes..fighter jets ) scrambled to intercept the plane and force it to land. However the pilot chose to ignore all the communications. Eventually he landed it on a highway and then HITCH HIKED to a a small town where he was arrested. Now I am thinking... did he honestly think he could escape and get away with it? A car is one thing. An Airplane is another. The Cessna 172 is not exactly a fast aircraft ..and with radar technology, there is no escape.
It goes the same way with these morons who steal cars and have a Police Helicopter watching them. There is no escape! So why keep going?
Now usually I write about one or two people who are morons/ idiots/ losers etc. How about 18,500 of them who went to see Britney Spears lip synch her show last night at Rexall Place. Funny how 20 years ago Milli Vanilli were busted for doing the exact same thing and were banished completely from the music scene. Then along came Shania Twain who lip synched her entire tour and now Britney.. yet no one seems to care. Back in the 80's we paid $40 to see a show and expect a "live" performance. Today we spend on average $100 and they cheat people by lip synching? And this is acceptable? That's why I love the bands I listen to. If and when they tour, it is certain they will sing live.
Now don't get me wrong , I have nothing against Britney Spears. I admire her for determination to not be a wash-out. What I do have a problem with is those who spend a lot of money to see a show only to see "the star" barely on stage for the entire act and then lip synching several songs.
Here is another STUPID person. Chris Brown- ex boyfriend of Rhianna. A few weeks back, he beat the crap out of her and is now charged with battery. He pled NOT GUILTY !! Say what? Plead Guilty and fess up to beating a woman!! MORON !
Same goes with some actor on the new 90210. Apparently some friends of his got into a fight on the street and he took action himself by grabbing a guy out of a cab and started to beat him in the face , repeatedly. ALL IN FRONT OF PAPPARAZZI CAMERAS !!! LOSER !
So this is now my last day of a week off.. went super fast too! It's nice to be able to relax the last few days before going back to work.
The ABRA KID ABRA Show was a success by every means possible. It was an honor and thrill to be an assistant to Production Manager. It was ,like I posted in previous blog, a lot of work and organizing but it went very well.. I look forward to ABRA-KID-ABRA 2.
Now back to losers : The highway Anthony Henday is an INDY 500 or Grand Prix. Never have I seen this many speeders where the cops are nailing them left right and center. No sooner are they finished writing one ticket, they have another. Yesterday one driver was clocked at 163 kph in a 90 zone ! Another was clocked at 157 kph in a 70 zone ! And these morons think they can drive like maniacs, then they get into a crash and wonder what happened? What happened, A-HOLE is ..you were speeding!
Every time I go to my parent's place it never ceases to amaze me how many cops are out there .. and if it is not them... A photo radar van is close by. There is a reason why they have speed limits. It is not the Autobahn.Now that's a whole different way of driving.
