First I am going to apologize for today's blog. I have enough to rant about and the things I am going to mention may not be gentle.
First off. I am GLAD that the Provincial Government has cut funding for sex-change operations! Why was this covered under the health plan to begin with? I mean people have serious diseases and are not covered but if you want to change from a male to female ( or vice versa ) they will pay for it??? Does this make sense!! Nope. And stop whining that this is killing you!! OH PLEASE ... SHUT UP ! Ok. You have an identity crisis and you struggle..but a sex change operation is A PERSONAL CHOICE !! It is not LIFE THREATENING !! Do it on your own dime ! Why should my tax dollars go to please you?
I am so sick and tired of the few who cry like babies when things do not go their way! SHUT UP ..GET OVER IT ! The Government did the right thing. They should not pay a single dime for someone to have these operations!!
The President / CEO of G.M should hand back his bonuses he got for the damage he has done. GM recently recalled 1.4 million vehicles because they may have a fire risk! 1.4 million cars. $2 million bonus! And heavily in debt ! Great Job ! Funny how people yelled all these Unions for being greedy but it looks like all the corporate monkeys took it all ! They have no shame in taking it either. That's the sick part of this whole thing. FILE CHAPTER 13 and close the doors! They are in a deep rut. No more money for you. G.M stands for General Motors..not GOVERNMENT MONEY !!
My deepest condolences go to The Blais Family whose loved one, Canadian Forces trooper Karin Blais 21, was killed in Afghanistan on Monday. In only her first tour and second week on duty, she was assigned security patrols in the region. Her armored vehicle ran over a roadside IED and exploded. Blais and all the other fallen soldiers are the true heroes and they have my sincere condolences. War is a bitch! There will be casualties. There will be deaths. However this does not mean we abandon what we started ! Many people have lost sight as to why we are there to begin with. Here is a little reminder: September 11, 2001 . Ring a bell? Good. That's why we are there.. to assist and support the U.S troops. I do not believe for one minute that ANY soldier died in vain. That their deaths were pointless.
Many people protest this war. They stand behind their silly signs and demand the soldiers come home. They completely miss the point. These fine folks signed up for it. They signed the dotted line to do what others won't. They dedicated their lives to serve their country ! Unlike those senseless , self righteous cowards who make signs and protest ! PROTEST all you want, but have some RESPECT for those who signed up to fight to provide you with a blanket of freedom and security. And if you see one.... THANK THEM !!
One last rant before I go :
Will people please learn to drive / park . I can not stand seeing big ass F-150's taking up 2 stalls. If you do not know how to park these big honkin trucks, get a smaller vehicle. Same with people who make up their own stalls. Do you know how many times I turn a corner of a parking lot only to see a parked car right in front of me? STOP IT ! Drive around until you find a spot. Running late for work? No sense parking wherever and leaving it...you are already late so you may as well take the time to find a spot.
Same thing with driving ! Drive normally ...PLEASE ! Where is the fire, chief?? Those who speed down the streets will likely hit someone or something one day and will wonder what happened!! The " Not me" syndrome is inexcusable. It will and can happen to you. SO DRIVE RESPONSIBLY !! I can't stand these people who feel compelled to turn a highway into the INDY 500.
Yesterday I was on my way visiting some friends and one car actually made his own lane and just about clipped my side mirror in the process. LOSER !
Ok. I think I have ranted enough. I feel better.
