Happy April Fool's Day everyone. So did you pull a gag today on someone? I have done some gags on days like this .. but the memorable one is one I did on my sister many years ago. I was living with my parents still and they were out of town. My sister was living quite a distance away. I called her up and while holding onions under my eyes, I told her that there was a kitchen fire while I was gone and the damage was pegged at $10,000. I told her to come ASAP so we can figure out what to do. About 30 minutes later, my sister and brother in law arrived. I was sitting on the front lawn pissing myself laughing. It was the best gag.... EVER !

I wanted to do something today but could not find a victim to do something to.

I think a day like this is what people need. How many people get fooled is one thing but it's another when they subconsciencely know it is April 1. They should know the gags will happen.

A month ago, ABC NEWS 20/20 aired an episode featuring Seigfried and Roy The Magic Returns. Before the show even aired, I was on their website and ordered it. Now I did not see anything about shipping it to Canada ( why would they do that? It must be illegal or something because it is a pain in the ass to get anything from there ). So I had them ship it to my sister's place. The site said the items were in stock and delivery to be 4-6 days. After two weeks of not hearing anything, I called the ABC store to enquire about my order.. ready for this?.... NOT IN STOCK ! THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE MASTER COPY ! So they advertise they have it, but they do not. So I ask why they will not ship to Canada. They do. It is under INTERNATIONAL orders.. but the shipping charges are unreal. A DVD costs $30..shipping and handling? $28. EACH !! So if I order 2 DVDs I have to pay the $28 twice. It's bad enough to buy something and pay an extraordinary amount for S&H..$28 ! Someone is making a lot of money ( or trying , in this case ) because the cost for the whole thing to be sent to my sister's place and then here adds up to $12. So what justifies the rest of the money. No wonder they are in a recession!! Who would pay this amount??

Speaking of recession. When did Earth Day become Earth Hour? On Saturday, people were supposed to turn off their lights for one hour..8:30 to 9:30pm. What for? First off when did we decide to have an EARTH DAY? Will we have a Mercury day? Saturn Day? URANUS day? Now that would be good one.. what day is it? Uranus!

What a bunch of crap! Know what I did ? I turned on all my lights. ALL of them! Wanna know why? So some low life shmuck won't take the opportunity to break in. Not that anyone could, but I'll be damned if I am going to sit in the dark... on purpose!!
