Well this is great!! I woke up this morning sicker than a dog ( dumb expression ). Sore throat, nauseated, aches, cough, etc etc... the flu!! So many people at this time of year get the flu and it's no wonder I got it. Working in a public building with hundreds of people.. bound to get it sooner or later. So I called in today and I am going to just rest. A good nap in the afternoon, pj's on.. a DVD playing on the TV.. ahhh life is good! ( If I wasn't sick , I might actually enjoy it ).

My nephew Jeff and his wife, Lisa , have now moved to Ft Lauderdale, Florida. From the Golden State to the Sunshine State ( hmm..isn't it also the hurricane state? ). I checked out Ft Lauderdale on GOOGLE EARTH and it looks like a great place to live and visit. I wish them well in their new venture and I hope to visit them in the future..

Ok.. remember last year Britney Spears performed at the MTV awards and it was a disaster.. she looked out of shape and was not herself. Well she is now embarking on a World Tour supporting her album. The tour has dancers, and a magician ( Britney is the assistant ) and the entire show is Circus themed.

By no means am I a Britney fan.. but the transformation from a plump ditsy blonde to a finer toned energetic performer is quite the contrast from a year ago. What I do admire is the fact that her dad took over her life and removed all the people who were exploiting her and creating a person who was out of control. I am sure that she would not be alive today had it not been her dad stepping in and taking control over everything.

Now.. what do we do with Octomom:

Doesn't this just make you want to throw up? I do. Every time I see this woman on TV, I get sick.. yuck!

Remember I wrote about the Northern Trust bank who spent millions on a wild bash in Los Angeles AFTER they got $1.6Billion in bail out money ( they did not even ask for it ). Well TMZ ( the papparrazzi show ) did something good this time. They reported the whole thing and now the C.E.O of that bank has written to Congress stating they will be returning ALL the money they got and they are embarassed and sorry they "misled" everyone! Gee..ya think?
