What a nice day to have off from work. What a difference this week has been for temperature. The other night it was a bone chilling -38 C..and now it's -2 and climbing... ahhh Spring is right around the corner.

I celebrated my 44th birthday this week as well. Well, when I say celebrate, I mean it was 11am and my folks, sister and nephew came over for coffee and left me a bunch of goodies ( hey..it's my birthday, you better not come empty handed ). Then I had to go to work , where I got lots of hugs and well wishes.

One of my colleagues took me out for dinner at CHILI'S.. and it was awesome.. I love their burgers! Pricey..but damn good burgers! So we had our dinner and the bill was paid ..by me! She forgot her purse downstairs..so I ended up paying for hers and mine. That was ok by me, we went back the next night, and I made sure this time she had not only her purse but also her debit card, cash or VISA- LOL

I have been busy working on my routine for the magic show on April 4. I think I have it pretty well mastered, but practise makes perfect and so I strut along and rehearse the routine several times a day ( the song is going to drive me cRaZy ). I think I may add a few things as well to it just to spice it up a bit.

I am getting excited to be a part of this show. I have never experienced doing a show where there are a bunch of us performing in one night!

Ok what is with these American companies not shipping to Canada any more? Whats the problem? it can not be cost.. consumer pays for that! No one wants to ship to The Great White North ! Was there an embargo that no one bothered to tell us. They are in a deep recession ( who isn't ) and they suddenly stop selling stuff! Makes no sense. I ordered a DVD from ABC News ( The Siegfried and Roy special on 20/20 ) but had to have it sent to my sister's place in Santa Clarita and she will then mail it to me! So what is the damn difference between them doing it and her doing it? Nothing! I still get the product.. so now my sister is my broker! LOL

Who let out all the dumb-asses! YIKES ! There is more of them now! They have spawned ! Ex #1: A lady asked me where she parked her car when she drove to the airport and now she has no idea which door she walked into! So she thought I knew.. no I do not !

Ex#2: A fellow was outside having a smoke and walked to the emergency doors to go back inside ( Emergency doors only have the handles on one side ). So he turns to me and asks how he can get back inside! USE THE OTHER DOOR !!!

Ex#3: Someone asked me if there was a restaurant around the boarding lounge. I pointed to CHILI's. She then asked me if they were open? IT WAS 630PM !!

Is it me or is NANCY GRACE completely obsessed with Caylee Anthony? The other night she was back on CNN blabbering about how the mom/ accused is looking at a plea bargain ! What did you expect,Nancy! When you blab all the discovered evidence on TV night after night, it makes the D.A's job a lot harder because TOO many people know the evidence!! You want the woman/ accused behind bars? THEN SHUT THE %^* UP !

So what are my plans today? Well I have to get a photo and a short bio ready for emailing to the publisher for the Magic show. Writing your own bio is not an easy thing to do. I struggle to find the right words ( funny how I struggle at that but blogging is simple ). I challenge you to write your own bio and see how it looks and sounds. It is kinda like writing your own obituary.. but you're not dead!

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment at 9am.. ugh! I do not look forward getting up that early in the morning but the good thing is once I am home, I can sleep for a bit. Hopefully this appointment will not be as dreadful as the last one.

So one last thing to talk about before logging off. Why is Rhianna back with Chris Brown? The dude beat the living tar outta her and she goes back to him? WTF? I am sorry but if I was a woman ( a whole different story right there , folks) and some jerk does that to me.. I AM OUTTA HERE !

I really do not understand the whole thing. Women do not want men to beat on them and then when they do get beat on, they  STAY with the LOSER !

It's like when a woman keeps saying how too GOOD it is to be true when someone comes along and treats them right! They think it's crap ? Too good to be true! Have I heard that a few times from people. So..the question is do you stay the same or turn into an asshole?

Well thats it for me.. time for making some dinner and then back to rehearsing!
