Hello Again. What to say today? Hmmm. I know. Last night on I think PBS ( dont watch much of that channel ) aired a show on The Kennedy Award Presents George Carlin. As most of us know, George Carlin died last year a few months shy of getting the prestigious award from the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Although Carlin died , he was still bestowed the honor. Although it was held in September of 2008, last night was the airing of the show. No one can come close to the sharp mind Carlin had. He was a smart man who made a point of ridiculing the English language ( no one else can compare this as well as he could ).

Why do people do these incredibly stupid things and think they either will not get caught or what? Micheal Phelps is a superstar swimmer.. winning 8 GOLD medals. Now he not only got caught but a picture was taken as well of him smoking from a bong ( a drug pipe ). KELLOGG'S cereal has now dropped them as their spokesman ( a nice pay cut ) and  also was suspended from competition and denied financial support for three months by USA Swimming, the sport's national governing body. MORON ! What a dumb move!! And we're supposed to feel sorry for his stupid behaviour! You deserve what you got , Micheal!

Pizza Hut commercials drive me crazy. As if a "fine dining" restaurant would actually allow their customers to be fooled by "fast food" . "PIZZA HUT COOKED THE PASTA !" SHUT-UP ! Dumb commercial. Bad enough I can not stand PIZZA HUT ( grease bucket on dough ) but their commercials do not entice me at all to go there!

Now CHILI'S is a great place to eat. One just opened up at the airport and it is phenomenal.. their burgers are mouth watering monsters.. BIG !! WOW ! A bit pricey for my budget ( I have one? ) but worth it!

Hell's Kitchen cracks me up. 16 "aspiring" chefs compete to win executive chef in one of Chef Ramsay's restaurants. Now the fun part is watching these "chefs" try to impress the master chef.. a mean tough but no nonsense chef! Can they shuck a clam? Nope. Can they cook a steak? No. One put something in the oven and was surprised it did not cook through ( the oven was not on.. although she thought it was ). HILLARIOUS ! Love it when that man calls them "donkeys".. too funny! One of these "chefs" runs a culinary school and charges $300 for 3-4hrs teaching people HOW to cook.. yet she can not cook a damn thing without burning it. Chef Ramsay called her a crook for ripping people off .( PRICELESS !! ). As he called out for something, he confronts her and asked her straight out that her resume was B.S ! But on the male side of things, an appetizer called Spaghetti Lobster was brought up to the hot plate.... minus the key ingredient... LOBSTER ! " Chef" had no clue! PRICELESS !

I love this show!!

Now for all you OBAMA supporters who thought the Republicans were bad. Seems Mr Obama is having a problem filling his Cabinet. Some of these "fine folks" haven't paid taxes. Some as high as $100,000. So it seems the Democrats haven't paid taxes in years. No wonder they are in an economic crunch. The Dems don't pay taxes and the Republicans spent money they never had. Makes me think McCain was a better choice... least they pay taxes!

Ever since I got my HD converter box, I started watching KTLA ( Los Angeles ) news at 11pm. Why? More interesting that local stuff that goes on. I can always read about it the next day in the paper..I think I got hooked on it one night when they stopped to bring a live high speed chase and the entire news cast was just on that. Now that I did like!

Speaking of L.A . I wish my nephew and his wife, Lisa all the best as they prepare to move to Fort Lauderdale Florida. A new career awaits Jeff and I wish him all the best ! I went on Google Earth and checked it out.. looks like an amazing place.

Ok. I am just about ready to go to Vegas again. I am getting email after email on these amazing deals and they are starting to get tougher to pass up.. so we'll see!
