Why is car shopping such a pain! There are so many dealerships, then make, model, style, mileage ( kilometerage for us canadians..LOL ) , and what does pre-owned mean? To own before you own it?? USED !! Simple.. but noooo we have to use a stupid term pre-owned!! It's like pre-heat the oven. It's impossible to pre-heat the oven. An oven only exists in 2 stages. Heated and unheated. Heat the oven to 400 degrees. It impossible to preheat the oven!! Fold one egg! SPLAT ! I tried it folks..folding an egg is impossible!

Anyway getting back to cars.. monthly payments, no down, half the payments until Nov ,  free trip to Mexico(, Las Vegas or a cruise) , good, bad or poor credit, no problem.. we'll work something out, free accessories to $1000... low monthly payments ( for the next 10 years ) and so it goes.. it's enough to "drive" you crazy!

Ok... here is something that the U.S taxpayers should be disgusted with:

Northern Trust Bank threw an outrageously expensive bash after their Annual Golf tournament on the weekend. Performances by Earth,Wind and Fire, Chicago and Sheryl Crowe at private functions. Dinner at the Ritz, the bank rented the entire HOUSE OF BLUES in West Hollywood, a cocktail party at the LOEWS and all the female guests got gift bags from TIFFANY AND CO.

Plus they covered a good chunk of the PGA tournament they held including costs of advertising, Mercedes chauffered of course to and from the hotels to the tournament...plus they flew in several VIPS from other countries... all at a whopping cost of millions..coming from a bank that LAID OFF 450 people in December ( "Merry Christmas but you're laid off ..we need your salary to pay for our exclusive GOLF thingy in L.A ").

And here's what's absolutely amazing: The United States Government flat out gave Northern Trust the $1.6 billion in bailout money, and the bank didn't even request it!

Pretty disgusting eh? Obama wants all of these executives to be accountable ! And they should be !

Looks like NASA had a failed launch the other day of a satelite that was going to measure all the GLOBAL WARMING on the planet. So either the atmosphere was too "warm" and blew up the rocket..or the rocket somehow knew it was pointless to go in space ! See, I do not buy into this whole GLOBAL WARMING when people are freezing their butts off ! What a crock ! It is minus 20 and Al Gore and his followers are all saying how we are all doomed as the icebergs are melting away!! Hint: Icebergs always melt when Spring / Summer arrive..but guess what? It still sustains itself.. and rebuilds in the winter when it gets cold again!!
