I love watching KTLA News at night on my HD TV. For two nights in a row, Police pursuits!! What amazes me each time is these morons actually think they can get away from the cops. IMPOSSIBLE ! Not only do the Cops have helicopters but there are several other choppers in the air belonging to news media. So it is impossible to escape!

The one pusuit from the other night was with a $100,000 Bentley. After 4 hrs, the driver pulled over at a West Hollywood Dealership,and then opened the trunk for some reason. A pursuit turned into a stand-off. A few hours later, SWAT moved in towards the car. Unfortunately, the driver shot himself and died in hospital. Now earlier that afternoon, a woman was being chased by Police. She stole a U-HAUL is my understanding!! WTF?? A U-Haul???

The one last night ended peacefully.. a spike strip was used to deflate the tires..Pursuit is over!

I just love how the News cast drop the entire show and concentrate soley on these chases! It happens so often in L.A that you'd think it was scheduled. " Ok. I got the car at 9:30, you chase me at 9:45 and I'll drive for 3 hours..no one wants to watch Desperate Housewives !!"

Going back to the Bentley chase, apparently papparazzo's thought it was a high profile chase and arrived at the stand-off quite quickly. I loved how the news media did not want to put them in the same category as them " The papparrazzi are here as well as the "professional" media!" Which made me chuckled at that comment..but last night on TMZ ( Trash television at its finest) commented that THEY WERE the SAME ! Nope. Sorry Harvey Levin.. it's not!

Last night I went to a magic lecture featuring Paul Gertner. Paul is a very talented magician who has appeared on several TV series on Magic. His famous CUPS AND BALLS routine is stellar. How to make a 4lb steel ball simply appear is amazing! And quick! Paul introduced us to several methods in presentations as well as explaining his routines and how timing is critical. I learned a lot in those few hours. There was also a draw for a small close up kit. Not only did yours truly win it, I also drew my own name out of envelope! How I did that ...MAGIC !

OK WHO SHUT MY WATER OFF ?? Nothing like giving a heads up on shutting down the water to fix something! Usually our condo board will put notices under the door. Not the case this time ! What a surprise when I turned on the shower and hear water for about 2 seconds and then...WAHHHGGGGGGGGGG !!! So here I sit waiting!

Ohhh when is SPRING coming! I am sick of this cold weather!  HATE HATE HATE IT !!! I want those hot sunny days ,sitting on my patio, BBQ spewing out smoke as a steak slowly cooks on the grill...mmmmm!
