Hockey and Football in one day..can I ask for more??

Ohhh wow!! This is my kind of day.. first the Oilers play the Predators today at noon... then the SUPERBOWL ! Can I really ask for anything more?? Nope..that would be selfish of me to do so.

So I have the food just about ready. Now this is a feast:

2 large Pizzas

40 mini sausage rolls

30 chicken drum sticks baked in salsa sauce ( mild )

40 Tequila Lime baked Shrimp ( never made it before )

After all this time... watching the Food Network paid off! ( hehehe ).

On reason I believe the Cardinals will win this game today is they are all hungry for the trophy. Pat Tillman would have been proud of it, regardless. You see, Pat Tillman played for the Cardinals until May 2002. Eight months after the 9/11 attacks, he gave up a $3.8million contract to do what he felt was right. He joined the army with the hopes of serving his country before serving himself. He gave up a lot of money and a career in the NFL. On April 22, 2004, Tillman was killed in Afghanistan by "friendly fire".

It was a blow to the team and those who knew Tillman. His dedication to his country and to his team will be forever etched in the books..

So as the world gets ready to watch the biggest game ( projection of 100 million viewers ), the Arizona Cardinals are at Mass and will dedicate this game to Pat Tillman.

So here we go... the Oilers and the SUPERBOWL.

This is my kind of day! !

Whatever you do today... I hope you have a great day ! I know I will... I am ! Nothing is going to drag me away from this!
