some things are just unreal to believe

Ever have an argument with a store / restaurant manager over $1? I did. I regularly go to this pizza joint at work - its quick and I love Pizza. Anyway I had a $10 voucher from my boss and thought I would use it. I bought a slice of pizza, small plate roasted potatoes, and a large soda. I paid the cashier with the voucher and spare change ( I went over the $10 limit ). The cashier gave me change of 91 cents and off I went-only to be stopped by the manager who said that I was not entitled to the discount and I owe money. I stated I did not owe money ( the transaction completed) and that it was not my fault ! If anyone should be getting scolded is the employee- not the customer! Even the cashier stated it was only a dollar but nope, the manager took my transaction, voided and redid it with the higher amount. Needless to say I am trying to find her boss and tell them about this! It may only be a dollar but forcing a customer to stay and pay the higher amount is ILLEGAL !

A friend of mine emailed me this photo: I love it.

Ok so this is it...George Bush is leaving the White House after 8 years. The "keys" will be given to Barrack Obama on Jan 20 in what experts are predicting to be the most elaborate most expensive Inauguration the U.S has ever seen! Somewhere in the range of ... $50 MILLION ! Is that not unbelievable. Economic hardships in the U.S, people walking away from their homes, layoffs , unemployment on the rise.. $70 Billion bailout to the automakers, and now $50 million to have some guy on a podium swear " I DO" on the Oath of Office. Unreal..

Now this I never heard ever happen :

A man in Ohio tipped off his intentions when he stood in the bank line up wearing a ski mask before robbing it. The teller asked him to remove the mask before being served and was answered with a toy gun. The man made off with an undisclosed amount and was apprehended shortly afterwards.

I just love the fact that he wore the mask from start to finish and actually STOOD in line!

Looking for that dream job? Well I may have found the answer. Apparently in Australia,  they have a small island that needs care and attention and the Australian Government is willing to pay $105,000 for someone to lay out the land and communicate it via blog, video, press release etc. The job is for only 6 months . Oh yeah.. did I mention the island is a tropical island with white sands, reefs and may "have to clean the pool". The candidate will also be provided a multi million dollar home to live in complete with a pool and golf buggy .. more on that later.
